We have actually found speakers for the
event but should things change I will keep Ari in mind.

Re: Boston Social Media experts wanted for Wentworth event panel

I have worked with Ari Herzog in the past and have felt he has a lot of good information and a good perspective. I'm having a great time here in Panama.
I might be staying a little longer than expected so there could be more that
I will uncover.

I would love to talk further about the world is flat and other topics. We
have a solid internet connection so if you want to Skype please let me know.

Nelson

Re: Insights to Innovation Episode 1

Hey Nelson,

Saw your video on credit cards and online shopping that you posted up on your travel blog. Thanks for checking into things! Interesting system...Hope that your travels are fruitful and you're having a good time with your family. Its good to hear about the insights and development between Costa Rica and Panama. In regards to World is Flat thoughts, I'd love to talk to you or read more about that when you return.

Alan

Re: What do you want know about life in Latin America? As you said
a lot of people are still not purchasing online or even online.

When I am there I will see if I can find any business that do online
payments. I will be interested to see if there are any creative solutions to
the problem you mentioned.

Nelson

Re: What do you want know about life in Latin America? Working here in Chile, there is a significant group of folks without access to bank accounts or credit cards, and with paypal not being an option as well, there seems little opportunity for a lot of folks to participate fully in the online market. This is not necessarily aimed at the less than $2 a day crowd, but many folks not technically even close to a true poverty level are held out of the credit and banking world, and I wonder what you might uncover as to how online businesses there are trying to get around it or solve the problem.

Re: What do you want know about life in Latin America? I would love to know more about your program
and what you mean by "risks". Also is there a certain demographic you
are most interested in hearing from?

I look forward to hear more.

Nelson

Re: What do you want know about life in Latin America? I am working with a network of microfinance institutions on a project to promote microinsurance (accessible insurance for the poor). I can give you more guidance if you are interested. I think the only way process innovation gets front billing is is you can prove there are more costs in the process than in the product. Any studies done to that note?
